HaoGood Social is the social media management tool operated by
HaoGood Group ("we", "us") to schedule and publish content to our own
brand accounts (HaoGood and its restaurant brands). This policy explains what data we
access through connected social platforms, why, and how it is handled.
1. Who we are
HaoGood Group operates a family of hospitality brands in New Zealand. HaoGood Social is a
private, internal tool used by our team to manage the social accounts we own. It is not a
public service offered to third parties.
2. Information we access
Connected account & profile data — when an authorised team member
connects a social account (Facebook Page, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Google
Business Profile, etc.), we receive the account name, profile picture, the list of pages or
channels managed, and an access token, via each platform's official OAuth flow with explicit
consent.
Content you create — posts, captions, images and videos that our team
schedules or publishes through the tool.
Engagement & insights — public performance metrics of our own posts
(reach, likes, comments, views) used to report results inside the tool.
3. How we use the information
To publish and schedule the content our team creates, to the accounts we have connected.
To display connected accounts and the performance of our own posts.
We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party for
advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data storage & security
Access tokens and content are stored on our own private server, encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
and protected behind authentication. Tokens are used only to perform the actions our team
requests and are never exposed publicly.
5. Data retention & deletion
We retain connected-account data only while the account remains connected. To delete data:
Disconnect any social account inside HaoGood Social at any time — this
removes its stored access token immediately.
To request full deletion of data associated with a connected account, disconnect it in
the tool or contact us (below); all associated tokens and content for that account will be
permanently deleted.
You may also revoke access directly from the platform — e.g. Facebook:
Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations; similar settings exist for
Instagram, TikTok, Google, YouTube and others.
6. Third-party platforms
Connecting a platform (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business
Profile, X, LinkedIn, etc.) remains governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy.
We act only on the permissions explicitly granted.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the
latest revision.
